As part of the Centenary Commemorations, we were pleased to introduce to you this lovely, early to mid-season flowering Daffodil.
This breed of daffodil has been approved by and registered with the Royal Horticultural Society. We hope you approve of the name which we believe has strong resonance with the start of the land campaign in 1915 and our continuing remembrance.
During the trial period, Gallipoli Dawn has proved to be a vigorous and hardy plant and produces a good medium-sized bulb with strong foliage. The flowers are early to mid-season, 45 to 60 cms in height and appear to last for several weeks in the garden. The colour is a clear Golden Yellow. Not only has this proved to be a fine Show Quality Flower, but is a sound variety for the discerning gardener and is well suited for the cut flower industry. No doubt, and with your support, it will appear as bunches of Daffodils in due time.
